Beyonce has us all waiting by our laptops for the release of her new Ivy Park collection in collaboration with Adidas. The Ivy Park marketing team has been building up buzz by delivering garment racks filled with items from the collection covered in a same bright orange color featured in the line. See Yara Shahidi’s unveiling on her Instagram.
Here is what Bey had to say about her collection:
“It is a dream come true to re-launch IVY PARK as the sole owner,” said Beyoncé. “My team has worked hard with the adidas team in bringing my vision to life for this first collection and I am grateful and proud. From the accessories to the clothes and footwear, I wanted to design and re-imagine pieces that serve as favorite armor for anyone who acknowledges the strength in their individual style and lives freely and boldly.”(Ivy Park)
The first Ivy Park release with Adidas has a color story of maroon, cream, and solar orange. Obviously, the orange is the pop of color that is grounded by maroon with cream serving as a neutral accent. From the sneak peeks we’ve seen so far, we can expect three sneakers that fall within the color family and a classic Adidas style bearing burgundy stripes adorned with “Ivy Park” in small lettering along the gum bottom.
Because Adidas is an althetic brand, items such as biker shorts, sports bras/crop tops, body suits, and elevated windbreakers and trackpants are included. I imagine the sheer orange Adidas three-striped dress will be a hit and sell out quickly.
The price range is from $25-$250 and the release date is January 18, 2020 online and in select stores.
