Letter from the Editor: Sending Love this Thanksgiving

As you have likely heard many times over, Thanksgiving this year looks a little different. With a pandemic that have ravaged through our country, and the globe, there are hundreds of thousands of you who hsve experienced trememdous loss. Not all of you are grieving loved ones who have passed from COVID this year. Many of you, including myself, have lost family and friends to cancer, heart attacks, strokes, gun violence, the list goes on. The families of Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd, and Breonna Taylor will not have their loved ones at the table this year.

Through all the pain, I am sending you love. I hope that on this day, the family members and friends who have safely gathered with you can bring some laughter and joy today. Tell people you love and appreciate them. This year has shown us that life really is precious.

Peace and Blessings,

Joslyn, Diva-in-Chief
